Hi Kim, i saw your wish regarding a cleaning list. Here is a general list that may be helpful for you until apmasphere can create a superior one. I hope it helps you;

CLEANING TO BE DONE

ON VACATING PREMISES

To assist in ensuring your bond is returned without any avoidable deductions or time delays, please keep the following on file and refer to it prior to handing back your keys.

Generally:             o Clean all windows, doors, sliding doors, fly screens and security screens

                          o Vacuum all sliding door tracks

                          o Sweep or mop all floors, removing any marks

                          o Clean carpets and remove any stains

                          o Clean light fittings, remove all cobwebs

                          o Clean all marks off walls, light switches

                          o Wipe down and remove all dust from skirting boards, picture rails, windowsills etc.

                          o Ensure that all curtains and blinds are clean.

                          o Clean inside built-in wardrobes and mirrored doors (wipe over scuff marks)

Kitchen:               o Inside and outside all cupboards and doors

                          o Inside, outside and around stove

                          o Inside, outside and behind refrigerator (where applicable)     

                          o Inside, outside and behind dishwasher (where applicable)       

                          o Exhaust fans and filter

                          o Sink, especially drain holes.

Bathroom:            o All floors, mirrors and windows

                          o Inside and outside all cupboards

                          o Toilet, bath, shower recess, glass screens, sink

                          o Shower curtain washed with bleach or replaced (where applicable)

Laundry:               o Inside, outside and behind washing machine.  Rinse out filter (where applicable)

                          o Inside, outside and behind dryer, remove lint (where applicable)

                          o Clean laundry tub

Verandah:             o Sweep and mop, clean railings and any Perspex or glass         

                          o Remove all cobwebs etc.

Lock-up Garage:    o Sweep out

                          o Empty any wheelie bins and remove all rubbish

                          o Clean oil residue from concrete

Yards:                  o Lawns, edges, weeding, general tidy up

If Furnished:         o Make sure that all items are in original rooms as per inventory. All items must be washed / wiped down and clean.
