In recent years, the demands of the industry have reached fever pitch. Tenants are keeping us busier, landlords expect more, legislation is changing faster and our hours are escaping us at such a rate that lunch is a rare reward in a less-than-ideal week. Add to that the financial pressure that comes with growing a rent roll and it's fair to say that most property management businesses are facing challenges beyond their control.
Yet why are our systems and processes largely unchanged from the days when collecting rent over the counter was our number one task?
It's one of many questions that have been fuelling the fires here at apmasphere for a long time and we feel that for the sake of the industry, and indeed, for the sanity of our property managers, it's time they were addressed.
